    Is there a way to use this plugin to create a list of taxonomies that I can use in my forms plugin? I’m looking to create a taxonomy category of the 50 states for a drop down field in a form I’m creating. I’m a beginner to WordPress and I’m learning as I go.

    You can create a taxonomy called State. Make it not hierarchical. To get a dropdown you can use menu or widget. To make the form you will need some form plugin.
