• I followed some instructions on a forum here to change the navwalker code to enable the first menu header to work as links. However, now the drop down links aren’t available:

    1.224.148.70/~trout

    What do I need to change to get the headers working and the drop downs as clickable links also please?

    Many thanks,
    Becks

    I recently answered the same question on colorlib support forum and I hope you don’t mind that I will point you to that discussion.

    Unfortunately, your website is not accessible, so I can’t check what is going on with your website. It would be great if you could make it online.

    Hi there – you should be able to access it via https://181.224.148.70/~trout/ ? Whilst it doesn’t have it’s own domain yet it does have an ip address?

    This links is working fine.

    Make sure to remove FontAwesome from Easy Bootstrap Shortcodes plugin. You can disable theme via plugin settings. Check if other scripts are disabled as well because everything is included with theme itself.

    If this doesn’t help, make sure to disable completely all plugin and then check if menu starts working.

    Hi,

    The drop down’s are not showing in the menu for campaign and about us? This has been since I got the links on the 1st level working?

    The easy boostrap plugin is being used for buttons and tabs? So if I disable it then the design of the pages will be removed. I installed it from following a link on the colorlib site which recommended I do so to get the boostrap features?

    Thanks,
    Rebecca

    I am not saying that you should disable it completely. Disable them temporarily to see what is going on.

    All necessary Bootstrap components for Easy Bootstrap Shortcodes are already included in theme, so make sure to disable all unnecessary components.

    Also you have included these in your website:

    <link rel='stylesheet' id='fontawesome-css'  href='https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/font-awesome/4.1.0/css/font-awesome.min.css?ver=4.1' type='text/css' media='all' />
    <link rel='stylesheet' id='tooltipster-css'  href='https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/tooltipster/3.0.5/css/tooltipster.min.css?ver=4.1' type='text/css' media='all' />

    Not sure what generates them but get rid of them completely because you don’t need them and everything comes with Dazzling theme.

    I deleted the style sheet you mentioned – i don’t recall installing that at all.
    The drop downs still do not work.

    I temporarily deactivated the easy bootstrap plugin by oscitas as suggested. The drop downs still still not appear so I reactivated it.

    Is my code in navwalker correct? I’m now confused?

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

    I have tried uploading the navwalker file new – still don’t have drop downs?

    Also I now have an error code at the bottom of the website which I have no idea what it is referring to. I love the colorlibs themes but I’m really having problems with getting this one how I want. Please help?

    Hi,

    I have now reinstated nav walker php so that I the drop down menus work. However now the first menu items will not link.

    I tried “commenting out” the php as recommended but whilst it allowed the first level menu to then be linked it took away the drop down menus.

    I really need a fix for this as the site is pretty much ready to go live bar this rather crucial navigation issue?
