Drop Down Filter on Sidebar as Widget

Hi, I totally love what I see so far and I’m considering pro.
Is it possible to have a drop down in a page side bar where people can select various categories and base on their options the map would populate and depopulate?
There is one more feature I’m looking for but I have let you know in private.
