Drop Caps

I’m trying to create a text-area block where the first letter will be drop caps. I was hoping to use the built in drop-caps function in wordpress but that capability isn’t showing up when I type in the block lab block. What is the best way to make this work so that every time the block lab clock is used, the first letter will be drop caps?
