Drop Cap Not Showing on Posts that Begin with Inline Images

First, this is a great little plugin. I especially like that it allows you to disable the drop cap on a post-by-post basis. But in addition to wishing it allowed you to disable the drop cap in posts (which you can, at least, bypass by adding a <br> to the top of the page), we have an issue where the drop cap isn’t showing up on any post where the Featured Image is hidden and the content begins with an inline image (that we have right aligned). My guessis that plugin becomes confused by the code but then it doesn’t drop cap the first letter of the first paragraph.
