Thanks for your message. That’s actually done intentionally, because the email address is the only safe field that can be pre-populated from the eventually logged in WordPress user in the order confirmation form.
Those who have access to the Custom Fields management functions with the commercial/Pro version of the plugin could create multiple fields of type “Nominative”, like “First Name”, “Middle Name” and “Last Name”, whilst on WordPress users only get a single “Name” field. For this reason, trying to populate additional information from the currently logged in WordPress user may lead to errors. On top of that, it is quite uncommon to allow the booking process to registered users, even though this is something that could be required through the apposite configuration setting.
If you wish to perform some changes to the default behavior of that page, then you can always create an override for the “View” (page) called oconfirm
– you can use the “Overrides Manager” tool available in the Configuration page of VikRentCar to safely work on a copy of the original template source code for that page generated by our plugin. This way, future updates will not touch your changes.
