    Hi there,

It would be awesome to be able to use this plugin to create diagrams within BuddyPress/Buddypress Docs/BuddyPress Docs Wiki. I currently have BuddyPress running with all three of those plugins and Drawit. Right now, whenever a user creates a new document in BuddyPress Docs and hits the “Drawit” button in the text editor, nothing happens. Is there any way to enable/troubleshoot this functionality or have this implemented as a feature? It would greatly help facilitate collaborative diagram editing.

    Thanks,
    Brendon

Update: I looked at the “Front end” forum topic in the Drawit support forum and installed the User Submitted Posts Plugin. After enabling rich text editing in the plugin setting, clicking the “Drawit” button in the text editor also did not show anything. I’m guessing I’m having a problem with permissions like other users have mentioned. Does anyone know of a way to allow registered BuddyPress members or even unregistered visitors to access the Drawit plugin?

Update 2: Logging in as an admin fixed the problem with the User Submitted Posts form; I can now access the Drawit plugin. I’m still not sure how to update permissions.

However, while logged in as an administrator, I still cannot access Drawit when using BuddyPress Docs despite enabling “Enable in frontend-based editors” and “Override other plugins disabling the frontend buttons” in the Drawit settings.

This may be another permissions problem related to BuddyPress Docs accessing Drawit, however, I have no idea how to fix it.

I believe it is related to BuddyPress Docs. I am using the same plugin and suggested implementation of ‘media’ such as DrawIT for BP Docs. If interested you can try to raise your voice here:

The co-author of BP Docs is currently responding to support questions so perhaps if more people raise it as an issue they will show more interest in implementing support for DrawIT ??

    Best regards,
    Michael
