Drawing multiple page posts to one layout?

I’m new to modifying themes of wordpress and I really like how easy it is to create nice designs with this cms behind it, but I’m having some trouble taking it a step further.

I want to bring information from different page posts to one layout, but I haven’t come across a way to do that. Can anyone point me in the right direction? For example, I want the content from the pages about and contact to show up on single page, but in the layout of my choosing and not a general blog layout.

Is there a way to pull the content from pages?
