Dramatic pageview decline 2013

Hi Camu, I’m trying to figure out if the recent slimstat changes have played a role in my stats plummeting this 2013 and also why my google analytics stats have always been drastically lower than on slim stat. I am not tracking spammers or loggedin users for slimstat. I have the google analytics code sitting in the header, assuming I did it correctly.
My blog, spanglishnoise.com, consistently grew in 2012 to reach 21,487 slimstat pageviews in Dec vs 6,670 ga pageviews …but then it totally plummeted in January to 11,153 slimstat pageviews, while GA only dipped slightly. There were 4 days or so where slimstat recorded nothing at all in January, but Feb is recording even lower slimstat numbers than Jan. From several months of 20k pageviews to this, I’m not sure what’s happening.
Do you have any ideas? And which stats page do I trust? Content output has been steady and my google page rank has not changed. I appreciate any help, good news or bad news.
