Drag & drop working only sporadically

I have the same problem. I disabled all other plugins and also changed my theme to Twenty Seventeen and it helped speed up the lag time, but I still have to wait a few seconds to move each one. I tried it in Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Edge on Windows 10.

After dragging once, I cannot drag again until I refresh the page.

same for me.
I use WP 4.7, and only the first drag and drop works fine.
After the first one, I am no longer able to rearrange pages by drag and drop.
You will probably fix that very quickly, thanks in advance.

I experience the same thing on large sites and abandoned using this plugin for any site that needs to scale. I think it’s a performance issue when JS moves elements in the DOM (reflow). Could be wrong and the author can chime in.
