Drag & drop reordering of gallery items not working

  • I have encountered an inconsistency with the drag-and-drop functionality for reordering gallery items on one of the galleries.

    It happens to have the most images (90) compared to the other 2 galleries which work fine.

    The issue is that for the first 60 or so images when you try and drag them to a new position they drag no problem, but when you drop them they just snap back to the original position. As I said, it is working fine on the other galleries & on the wedding gallery itself after the first 60 items which is very strange.

    My client pointed it out to me and I was able to replicate the issue – I am running the latest Chrome on a Mac.

    Thanks for the follow-up. I tried what you suggested and switched it to row & grid view where it is easier to reorder but it did not work. In my case, the gallery with 95 images partially works as expected but only for the final 30 images in the gallery.

    Just sent a login to ([email protected]) for the dev site so you can see for yourself.

    Do you have an ETA for the fix?

    Try adding

    define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);

    to your wp-config.php file. Place it below:

    /** Absolute path to the WordPress directory. */
if ( !defined('ABSPATH') )
	define('ABSPATH', dirname(__FILE__) . '/');

    but before:

    /** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */
require_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php');
