Drag & Drop in WP native image gallery stopped working after last update (4.8.1)

  • Hi Kyle–
    I’m troubleshooting a problem that’s developed on this website. Since yours was the last plugin I updated and since I’m getting these messages in the “php error log,” I thought I’d check with you first to see if what think is going on.

    It’s just as described in my topic title. The drag and drop feature when I’m editing an image gallery just stopped working. What I have to do now is figure out which short code # is what image to move re-order images in the galleries.

    Have you tried disabling my plugin to see if that solves the problem? Those error messages all look related to the HDW Player plugin, not mine.

    Also, the latest update of my plugin is version 4.3.4

    It’s weird because I don’t have that HDW Player installed anymore. It’s not your plugin, because I disabled it and I’m still experiencing the issue.

    I went through and disabled all plugins and even disabled all the plugins at once.

    Then I did a search on: “unable to drag and drop to reorder images,” and found this post:

    I’m running the latest WordPress and all my plugins are up-to-date.
    It seems to be a WordPress issue in Firefox. The drag and drop worked for me in Chrome.
