Drag and drop scheduling in a calendar; some quirks.
-
Brilliant and useful way to see and reschedule posts. In the calendar view, you can drag things from the Drafts column to whatever date you want. There is a limited Quick Edit to change the publish time, else midnight will be used.
I have seen it get confused a number of times, where it will duplicate entries.
The biggest feature I’d like to see, and would pay for, is the ability to have a queue of posts. The software could grab the next one out of the queue to post on whatever schedule you set up. For example, I have 12 pending blog posts, and it will post one every Tuesday at noon. That way, I can add and rearrange easily before posting time. Right now, if you drag posts in to the calendar for the next few weeks, then decide you have a priority one you want to post first, you have to manually move every other post down. (As far as I know; if there’s a better way, please comment!) This doesn’t quite allow that, but it’s easier than clicking and typing a date.
