Drag and Drop Management for the Categories Themselves, NOT Categories on Posts

  • I have a newspaper-type blog specific for a region
    Article posts fall under 160+ Categories and Subcategories
    I find adding and rearranging categories INSIDE the WordPress Categories section slow and clumsy
    I’m looking for a plugin that would allow me to sort out my Categories in the same way I can rearrange my menu navigation – drag and drop
    All I can find is management plugins for the Categories ALREADY ASSIGNED to a particular post
    These solutions have nothing to to with my problem
    Google doesn’t seem to be able to tell the difference
    Does anybody know of a solution?
