Draft never saves so can’t update post

    Hi all,
    Recently I am getting the following issue – only seen this happen with editing posts not new posts:

    Click “edit” for a post.
    Edit the post.
    Click Update and two things happen:

    It automatically redirects me to “All Posts” in the admin-console without updating the post.
    Or it just sits there thinking.

    For point 1 if I then hit the back button update is greyed out. If I re-edit it and accept “restore browser backup” the cycle repeats.

    Maybe an issue with my provider but not sure what to ask them so wanted to see if it was something on my side. I have not traced it to a specific plugin as of yet.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Nineteen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Thanks for the insight. I did some troubleshooting under Safari, Chrome and Opera and found the issue. Because I didn’t have SSL turned on (now I do) I got a “Safari has blocked scripts on this page”. Made the site trusted in all three browsers and everything worked.
