    Hi,
    I have been trying to use All in one wp migrator to clone my Live WP site to a local server using WAMP.

    I can export the live site.
    I can import the new site to the local host.
    As soon as i try to go to Permalinks in the WP settings to save them twice as instructed it no longer loads any pages or links (in Admin or local site) instead it just downloads the PHP files for whatever link/page i click on?

    any suggestions as to what could be causing this??

    thanks
    James

  • Hi James

    Are you using a caching plugin on the site? If you could disable them, take another backup and try and import.

    If it doesn’t work, please contact us by email – support at servmask.com

    Cheers

    I have this exact same problem. Can you please provide the solution that solved your problem?

    @jkurzner

    Each situation can be different… as per my first reply, it is often caching plugins. It is related to additional lines of code in the .htaccess file. If you know what you are doing, you can delete the .htaccess file.

    Please contact support by email if you would like more help on your individual case.

    Deleted the htaccess file and was able to get into the dashboard. But, the only way to solve the problem was to disable the All-In-One plug-in.
