Currently, when you add new downloadable files to a product, they won’t be automatically available to customers who have already purchased the product. This is because the download links are generated at the time of purchase and are specific to the files available then.
Similarly, if you remove a download row and add a new one, the old orders won’t be able to see the new download. This is to ensure that customers only have access to the files they have paid for at the time of their purchase.
However, if you wish to provide your previous customers with the new files, you can manually resend the order emails to the customers from the order screen. This will generate new download links for them, including the new files.
