• Hi there. First let me thank you for the nice plugin. Your work is highly appreciated. Now my problem; when looking at the settings I found the marked option and thought I disable logging of IPs just in case it was better regarding the GPDR in the EU. But after disabling logging my downloads were not counted anymore at all (what messed up my stats for the last 2 days, sigh…).

    The setting is checkmark at “Do Not Capture IP Address ? Use this if you do not want to capture the IP address and Country of the visitors when they download an item.”

    If I set to “Do Not Capture IP Address” the downloads are not counted anymore. Click download button, but the counter does not +1.

    Hi, I just carried out a test in one of my dev sites and it works for me.

    Something is blocking the counter in your site from adding +1 to your products counter when someone downloads them and Do Not Capture IP Address feature is enabled.

    Can you disable all other plugins except ours and then carry out a test? Can you also enable Debug mode in the settings and once you have completed the test, check the log file.

    Let me know what happens.

    Thanks for your reply. I enabled IP address feature again after finding out that it causes the error. I will not disable all my other plugins and test as you wrote. See – my security features cause serious errors if I disable all my plugins and changing all that just for debugging is too much work for me right now.

    Maybe you have a cache plugin that delayed it from updating.

    I have the IP option switched off and my download counts increment fine.

    @ajtruckle yes, I got a cache plugin, but the download count should have an average of 40 DLs for the item, and I don’t think the delay would be during 4 days… the DL counter showed zero.
