Downloads-Manager Not Working, Please Help!

  • OK I was using DM but my site went down for a while but luckily I had a backup of the DB etc.
    I uploaded the new version of wordpress and now the code to put in the pages to display the downloads will not work and the page also will not display my right sidebar! The code I am using in a page is <!–download table–>

    all the files are listed in the admin side but the code will not show the downloads ??

    Anyone know if this works with WP 2.6?
    If it doesnt does anyone know of anything similar, I am not keen on the other download manager or Drain Hole … I need a manager that I can add external download links to as they are not on my server.

    I figured this out… it works if when you create a ‘page’ change from Visual to HTML in the editor and paste <!–download table–>. If you do it in visual it converts < and > to HTML code which renders it useless.
