Downloading files is not working

    I have been using WP Download Manager for users to download PDF files. I guess I have updated plugin few hours before which has stopped working which everything earlier was working fine. Now, when user clicks on download button, it shows downloading symbol on the screen and nothing happens. Please help. Thanks.

  • I have the same problem, just updated to 3.1.04.
    My password protected downloads do not work, other downloads work.

    Found the issue, fixed and updated, please update to v3.1.04.

    I just installed the new update and it works again!!

    I just now installed update received today 29th July 2020. It started working now. Thank you very much for quick support.

    My clients website has the same issue.

    Download Manager is Version 3.1.05

    I’ve carried out some troubleshooting and identified the problem as a conflict with the latest version of Siteground’s SG Optimizer plugin (Version 5.6.1).

    I’m going to notify them as well, but between you, could you find a way of resolving this issue please.

    I have 3.1.05 but download manager will no longer work with WPDM Image Button plugin. It works if I disable that plugin but the button isn’t very nice. Are there other ways to build templates for buttons without this plugin. Or is there a fix for this as well?
