Downloadable products: Downloadable files path to original image.

    This plugin is great! Thank you!

    But I have a problem with WooCommerce downloadable products. The product image is downloaded and added correctly to the product, but I want to add the path of the original image once uploaded to my hosting in the “Downloads: Downloadable files (WC 2.1.x)” field.

    Attachment screenshot. I mean {Image_URL} is a path to dropbox. When I use it in the “Images/Gallery” field, the image is uploaded to “mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/image.jpg”. Perfect.

    But when I use {Image_URL} in “Downloads: Downloadable files (WC 2.1.x)”, it just copies the URL to dropbox, but I want the path to “mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/image.jpg” too.

    Is there some code I can put in “Downloads: Downloadable files (WC 2.1.x)” to achieve this? Something like “wp_get_original_image_url” or something? Or any other solution?

    Hi @alberto3,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Currently, the plugin just supports inserting the downloadable URL from the file as it is to the Downloadable file URL fields of the products. As of now there is no option to download the file to the site and add the new image path in the case of downloadable file URL field.
