Downloadable Product Link Error

    Im having a problem with the product download link. When the customer clicks on the 'Download Product; link as shown here https://prnt.sc/w7704b , the link generates a file called 'preview' https://prnt.sc/w771cb. Instead, what the customer should be able to see is a link to an external platform where their download is. This downloaded preview file is pretty useless as it cant be unarchived and it is not what the customer would have purchased.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi there,

    With some external services, like Google Drive for instance, the “direct” link isn’t truly direct to the file, and standard, unconverted links generate odd, empty files. It might be that case with your service too.

    One solution explained in the digital download FAQ, where it suggests the following:

    Links from some cloud storage providers, like Google Drive, only work when File download method is set to Redirect only (insecure).
