Downloadable File was immediately available>

I’m testing out this plugin on my website. I read on the forum that this plugin works for digital download products. I want to have a pre-order set for a digital download that will automatically send an email with a download link once the pre-order is over.

I was able to set up the pre-order successfully for the digital product however after going through the payment process and on the “Order Received” page, there’s still a button to download the file right away, basically negating the pre-order. Do I need to somehow work with woocommerce + css to remove that section from the Order Received page or is this pre-order plugin not working as intended?
