Downloadable content

  • Hello!

    I haven’t downloaded this yet because I have one quick question regarding what it can do. I have been looking for a plugin that will let people who order Downloadable content be out of my desired country. I noticed that country can be applied and it piqued my interest.

    Since downloadable content doesn’t need shipping, I wasn’t sure if this plugin could do this or not. It would be orders that only get downloadable items because we only ship to the US but have many people who want to download products.

    If this plugin can’t do it that’s fine, I’ll keep searching! ??

    Hi Vbptrin,

    Sorry for the late reply, if you want to ship your down-loadable products other than US with free shipping, then you can use this plugin and can do by create new rate with 0(zero) shipping price for those specific countries.

    Hello CedCommerce,

    I’m wanting my downloadable content to be available to every country, not just specific countries. And it doesn’t look like I have a way to put in the rate only downloadable content.

    An example of what I want would be if someone orders a physical copy of the book and the downloadable pdf, then the shipping will need to be the regular price and only in my desired country. If they only got the PDF then there would be no shipping and they could order it from anywhere.

    Again, I’m not even sure if this plugin will do this or not. But it’s what I need and if it can’t, I’ll keep searching for one that can.

    Unfortunately this is not available in the current version(1.0.0), we’ll add this features in next version very soon and let you know asap.
