    Hi,
When I go to the page where I’ve put my downloads, if I click on one of them, an ‘Error Page not found’ appears. I’ve tried to re-save the permalinks parameters, but it hasn’t worked. There is nothing special in the error-log, like I could see in other questions on this forum. I tried several downloads but no one of them worked. Did I miss something or there’s something wrong with the plugin ? This is a completely new installation.

Oh, and I saw another little thing. When you do a quick modification on a download file, the checkboxes for ‘Only Members’, etc.. are always empty, even if they are checked in the ‘normal’ modification page.

    Thanks in advance ^^

  • Hey Kerzzy,

The ‘Error page not found’ error is very strange, are there no other plugins active and did you try this on a default theme (like twentyfifteen) ?

About the Quick Edit, good catch! I’ll fix this in the next version!

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi,

    Thanks for your support.
I tried with each plugin (in a default theme), and it seems that the Polylang plugin causes the error.. Is there anything I can do ?

And you’re welcome for the quick edit

    Best regards,
    Kerzzy

hello. I have same problems. not found , all my downloads. i tried also saving permalinks, and still. i didn{t install new plug-ins and it was working perfectly but now nothing help please!

    Hi,

Any news? I have the same error…

    My link download/THE_ID doesn’t work. But if I add en/download/THE_ID it’s work.

    Any solution?

    Dear Plug-In-Author,

I also like to ask when this bug will be fixed.

We are evaluation of your plugin and nearly all pre-sales-questions have been sorted out.

FYI: I use the Standard-Theme “TwentySixteen” and no other Plug-Ins are activated. WP 4.4.2–de_DE is installed. I resetted Permalinks a few times.

When I call the URL website.tld/download (standard) the blog posts appear. URL still tells “website.tld/download” and when I try switching to i.e. page 2, I get the error message “Download existiert nicht.”

When will the general download overview work again?

Because the plug-in is looking really promising, but it is not usable right now…

Just in case it is relevant:. One of the previous active plug-ins was WPML. But even without any other plug-ins and with standard theme the overview page does not appear: instead the blog posts appear whe I try to open https://website.tld/download/…

Strange is, when I enter https://website.tld/download/14862/ directly, at least the download appears.

Please help to display the overview page. ??

    Hey meganlop,

I understand why this might sound related to the previous issue but I don’t think it is. The /download/ URL is the URL-structure used to download files. There is no page generated at /download/ that lists all your downloads.

There are multiple things you can do, here are two suggestions.
    1. Create a custom template and use the snippet on this page to list downloads per category: https://www.download-monitor.com/kb/segment-downloads-by-category/
    2. Get the Page Addon extension which adds a shortcode to your site to list downloads, categories, tags, and show info pages about each of your resources. More information about the Page Addon can be found here: https://www.download-monitor.com/extensions/page-addon/

    Kind Regards,
    Barry
