Download Stats?

    I paid for the JetPack “Personal” plan, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to see stats for FILES (PDF) DOWNLOADED from my website? Because I just can’t find anything. Does JetPack provide this stat? If not, is there another way I can measure this download? It’s important to my business. Thanks

    I’m afraid you won’t be able to see stats for static files with Jetpack Stats. Jetpack’ Stats tracking code is added to all the pages on your site, but it can’t be added to files themselves.

    You’ll experience similar issues with other analytics services like Google Analytics. You could, however, rely on your server’ access logs to see how many times a specific file is accessed every day. I would recommend that you reach out to your hosting provider and ask them if they provide any server log analytics tools that could help you with this.
