    Hey there svenrop,

    How are you doing today?

I’m not really familiar with the plugin you’re using so I can’t really be specific on this one.

Membership 2 does have built in media protection located in the Media Protection add on which can be found in Membership 2 -> Add-ons.

However, free only have an ability to mask media URLs and not protect them. In premium version you can protect specific media items in Membership 2 -> Protection Rules with the same add on.

Alternatively you can simply use content protection shortcodes which are available in free version to protect download links in the content. You’ll find more info about level specific shortcodes in Membership -> Memberships, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/IqQH5yCkoO.

Hope this helps and have a great weekend ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan

Ok, i tested your plugin and it works for me very cool. The problem I have is I got this error messege:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /www/htdocs/*****/sven-ropertz.de/wp-content/plugins/membership/lib/taxamo/Taxamo/Swagger.php on line 177 - See more at: https://sven-ropertz.de/register/#sthash.W1etAe1a.dpuf

It seems to be a problem with my php Version. I use 5.2 and I need 5.3. I tried to update about my .htaccess to 5.3 but this crashed my side. Is there another way to fix this problem? I hope so because I like your plugin very much.

    Hey again svenrop,

Yes this is the syntax error for PHP versions below 5.3 so upgrading to it should resolve the problem.

If you’re unsure on how to change your server PHP version the easiest way would be to actually contact your hosting provider. In case you’re using cPanel there should be an option for that, please check the following blog post https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/php/how-to-change-the-php-version-your-account-uses.

    Hope this helps ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan
