• Feature request!

Would be great to be able to download profiles in WP lister for ebay and Amazon as sometimes a tiny change can have massive implications. If we had downloadable profiles least we could roll back to last know good ??

    Cheers

    Hello albertramsbottom.

Sure, being able to export/import listing profiles is definitely a good idea and a valid feature request.

Someone else recently asked for this – but it was for the eBay version.

Still, we should do this on both versions. I’m not sure which format to use though. From a developer’s perspective, using JSON would be the most straightforward to implement, so I think we should go with that for now. (the eBay importer allows you to backup its settings as JSON as well)

By the way, in the future, please start contacting us via email or the support form instead of posting each of your questions on www.remarpro.com. It is much easier for us to handle and organize emails/tickets than forum posts. Especially when it comes to feature requests like this, which may take some time to implement, thanks!

    Kind regards,
    John

Yes it would be good for both plugins, although more for the Amazon plugin

what format does really matter for the end user as long as they can either upload it or drop it in to a folder using ftp that would be great

The issues is small changes to the profile, then loads feeds for all variations linked to profile and then updating can cause issues so a last know good profile would be great

    Cheers

    Hello albertramsbottom.

We released new beta versions for both plugins, which do allow to download and upload (backup and restore) listing profiles right on the Profiles page. The new versions are:

    WP-Lister for Amazon 0.9.7.2 and
    WP-Lister for eBay 2.0.30

These are currently still in beta and available to paying customers only, but they will be released on www.remarpro.com later this month as well.

    Kind regards,
    John
