Download permissions for verifed users

    Hello,

    Where can I set permissions for specific roles/user to allow download file?

    I have noticed “Security Settings -> Download permissions -> Only verified users can download”. But where can I choose roles or users?

    Hi @comperio,

    A user needs to have the gravityforms_export_entries capability to export entries. Because that is what this plugin does, i’ve implemented that capability.

    You can use any plugin you’d like to give that capability to any role you’d like. That way you have way more flexibility. If I only provide you with a role you can select, you loose that flexibility.

    I recommend a plugin like Members or User Role Editor to add the capability to the preferred role.

    Hello,

    I tried to give a user the permission using the plugin “members”. When I edit the user role for a user, I can grant the permission to “import/export” gravity form entries, but the download-link is still not working.

    What are the customizations to the role I need to do to get download-links for verified users working?

    @wpbt It was a bug. I’ve updated the plugin. 1.7.3 should do the trick!
