Download PDF to one of my folders

When you say download to one of your folders, are you referring to a folder on the server the site lives on?

The only difference between the file on the client’s side and the file on my server’s side is in the name of the file because of ” bin2hex( openssl_random_pseudo_bytes( 5 ) )”.
If I replace it with “date(‘His’)”, then probably both files will have the same name, right? However, if two clients try to download a PDF file at the same second, what will happen with the names of the files?
Do you have any suggestions on this?

Yeah you wouldn’t want to do that, you can set a cookie with a unique value and then use that for the filename
