Download Manager Pro Alternative

  • Can anyone recommend an alternative to the WordPress Download Manager Pro plug in?

    I have been having many issues with it. I purchased the add-on package thinking it was a good deal. But the time I have spent in the forums has made that deal counterproductive.

    Here are some of the features I need, which attracted me to WPDM Pro:

    • I do need the ability to capture information from users on some, not all, of the downloads.
    • I need to be able to customize the appearance of the download pages
    • Need to allow immediate download upon submission, as well as emailing the download links
