Download Manager Disappeared

    Hi Everyone,

    I’m really new to wordpress and just picked this up as part of my job role to look after the company website. So apologies if this is a simple question.

    Our download section has disappeared on the website and only show’s code for the downloads, also, in the installed plugin tab download manager isn’t there anymore and when I go to install it, it says its already installed. Not sure if what has happened. If you check out the link to the website, you can see:

    Any help would be much appreciated, look forward to hearing from someone..

    Hi,

    Visit your Dashboard >> Plugins page. Then delete Download Manager from there. Install a fresh copy by visiting Plugins >> Add New page. You have to search the plugin using Download Manager keyword. A fresh installation should fix the issue.

    Hi,

    Thanks for replying. The download manager is this not there in the plugins page, i tried looking for it and typing it in search but it is not there. Nobody has access to the dashboard apart from me, so can’t understand why it has gone.

    I did what you all said and managed to delete the old folder from the FTP and re-install.
