Download links stopped working after update

    Hi – all download links (via the Icons on that particular page) seem to have stopped working after the latest update to 4.7.78 (WP 6.2). They were all fine before and now will just forward to the 404 page.

    Please help!

    Hello @netschmiede24 ,

    Please go to dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and click “Save changes” without modifying anything and try again. Please let me know if the issue still persists.

    Ah yes – it works now. So is this something one always needs to do after an update?

    No, it should work as expected, but sometimes it appears the permalink rules get a little messy, don’t know exactly why.
