Download links not working

    I updated DM due to the errors with missing downloads. Now that I have completed the update, the download filenames are showing up, however I am getting a bad/invalid file path error.

    Is there a solution?

    Hello,

    Can you please let us know if you have set a “No Access” page? This can be done by going to the “Access” tab located on the “Downloads > Settings” menu in the WordPress admin.

    Once you check the above, please make sure there is no page with the slug “download”.

    Let us know what you find.

    Thanks for sharing that. The setup seems correct. A 404 error should have been displayed but it’s not on your website. Can you please email us at “[email protected]” so we can look into this further?

    Hi,
    same here… not able to download any of the files after the update.

    Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/2018/04/FindingtheIrishinWW1Records-Handout.pdf on this server.

    I do have NO ACCESS page and have even recreated it, just in case.
    The same error if I remove “members only” access.
    Maybe something wrong with the Server File permission?
    can you please clarify what else I would need to check?

    SORTED –

    for some reason the download link become as the full path to the file instead of https://ifhs.ie/download/2022/ – don’t know why this happened but have changed all as should be and now works fine.
