• I see this request commonly in this forum with out any resolution.

    I have found a bug with how you are comparing download_url_path != my_parsed_url_path in check_secret_link of opsd-download.php. I don’t know if the other instances are similar to mine but I’ll throw it here for discussion.

    If a site lives in a sub directory this comparison doesn’t work. My site is in…
    https://www.my_site.com/my_site_dir/

    my_parsed_url_path = my_site_dir/my_download_dir
    download_url_path = my_download_dir

    I have /my_download_dir/ in settings for URL Path based on the place holder text of /file-download/

    I’ll keep digging and post more as I find more info.

    If I put the correct URL Path in /my_site_dir/my_download_dir/ I get the file-not-exist error. Oh…..that’s because the Secure Link generator page creates a wrong link.

    It does this…. 2 my_site_dir directories.
    https://www.my_site.com/my_site_dir/my_site_dir/live/nob/?product=

    The download worked. I don’t have time to trouble shoot this any further.

    For anyone with this error because their site is in a sub directory. Set /my_site_dir/my_download_dir/ for your URL Path and then generate the secure url and fix it manually. I’m guessing you’ll have to send emails manually.

    Sorry…..one more. On Manage Files you have to set your file path to relative….even though if you use the Add New button it’ll add the full path including domain.
