Download link does not work if orginating URL contains ?

  • If the download link is invoked from a page whose URL contains a ?, in my case e.g. for the german language version /<stub>/?lang=de, the generated download link adds another ? instead of a &, leading to a redirect of the original page instead of actually processing the download link and returning the file.
