Download Google fonts / GDPR

Hi,

would it be possible to load Google fonts from the website server, so that the theme would become GDPR compliant?

E.g. like Kirki did on May 15: “New: GDPR-Compliance: Google-Fonts are now downloaded server-side bypassing the google-CDN which collects user’s IP addresses and personal data without their consent.”
