Download File Name Change

I am testing Easy Digital Downloads on a client’s website and I noticed the file that we want the users to download changes names when they click download. For example, if I upload example.pdf to the files area and then go download it I get a file with a name like sitetitle_c8c2cb03c10513616.pdf.

When I check it on the backend it is correct in the individual downloads editor (e.g. https://example.com/wp-content/uploads/edd/example.pdf)

Is there any way to avoid this? It is very helpful to our clients that they are able to download example.pdf and not a file that doesn’t describe what it is in the filename.
