Download Details not showing after clicking a Category

I’m using Easy Digital Downloads but i can’t figure out how to get the “Add to Cart” button to show on the Archive page. I assume I need to create a child archive.php but i’ve tried and so far it’s not pulling it. I’ve named it archive-downloads.php
BUT even if that gets sorted out, how do I edit the code to pull the full Download pages?
