Download counter not recording

My counter is not working as well. I manually update it but it only counts downloads from people logged in (me namely). Here’s an example

yes, already did with no impact.
My wp install is very basic. Only running 4 plugins (akismet, jetpack and redirection are the other 3).

Do you know what changed before the counter stopped working?

It has not worked since install… never has worked correctly. Installed less than 6 months ago

Okay I just carried out a test on my website and I was able to download a file and the counter worked. This was done while I was not logged in.

You might want to enable debug mode and see if anything shows.
