  • I can think of a couple possibilities (definitely not comprehensive, just the first that come to mind): the mysql table wp_download_log was not created successfully or there’s some part of the php code that is not running correctly on your server.

Can you describe your hosting environment? (e.g. ubuntu 14.04, apache 2.4, php 5.5, mysql 5.5)

Are you able to edit and view your WordPress database directly? (e.g. using phpMyAdmin) — if so check whether the wp_download_log table exists.

Ah the table was not there! Deleted and reinstalled and there it is. Logging working. Thanks SO MUCH for the hint Matt!

Same issue here, but uninstall-reinstall did not fix it. Also. where are the email addresses captured? Don’t see anywhere they would even go to?
    Thanks

Did you manually check in phpMyAdmin if the table is there? Maybe it failed to create again.

Not sure what you mean about email addresses.

The form that collects the data dose not seem to put the email address anywhere.

@jjsararas glad to hear you fixed it, will look into why the table was not there in the first place!

@morvran93 This sounds like a separate issue. Also the form locking functionality is not something that comes with the core plugin. If you purchased this extension via our website, please contact us via https://www.download-monitor.com/contact/
