• I just noticed that all of my down load counts are gone.
Yes I have it checked in the Post Content section.

Could this be because my hosting service just moved my site to another server?

If yes is there a file that I can retrive from the old server? (My old files are still on there too.)

  • no-one has a clue what you are talking about, I assure you.

here is me, writing a comparable sentence,

“i have a book, and there is a page missing, does anyone have that page for me?

Perhaps you would like to rephrase your issue, and fill in the details?

Ok, let me put it this way. Recently my website hosting company moved my site to a new server. Aftwards I notice all of my download counts for each of my podcasts were gone.

Example: Hide Player | Play in Popup | Download=0

I’m talking about the area under the post that lets me know how many people have downloaded the podcast.

So what I was asking above was, is there a file that contains this count in the podcast directory that i can copy from the old host site that will put my download count back or is this something that’s counted on the server only.

youre apparantly talking about a plugin. We now know that much.. Im guessing that there is more than one podcasting plugin, so you probably want to mention its name.

Talk to us like its not our site, see, it’s not.

And I can tell you, that IF the plugin made its table inside the database, and your host didn’t copy or move that table over, then yes, that’s lost.

Thats why God created the ability to make backups.

    Ok the only plugins are
    Akismet 2.0
    Feedburner Feed Replacement 2.2
    podPress 7.1
    WordPress.com Stats

The podcast is located at https://www.mauricewatts.com/podcast

Users have told me today that they have downloaded some of the shows and the counts are still not shoing up.
