  • Could you try to reupload the file in the Download Monitor backend?

I’ve started to see this, too.

If I upload the file via FTP (after uploading it through DLM), the corruption problem appears to disappear. Note that the file sizes are identical uploading both ways.

    Hey 3dperuna,

Could you explain me the exact steps in order to get this error. This will help me a lot in reproducing the error and solving it. Thanks.

    Kind Regards,

    Barry Kooij

I am experiencing truncated downloads on 1.6.3 as well. What I’ve determined is that files that are downloaded from the dlm_uploads directory exhibit the problem — they are 5k smaller than if I download the same file via FTP. If store the file in the standard WP uploads folder, download monitor downloads it with no corruption.

The missing 5k appears to be an encoded license stamp that has been filtered out.

BTW. These files were originally uploaded through the DM front-end. They have since been updated via FTP.

    Same problem here.

I’ve worked around the issue by not using the DLM to upload. I upload via Media Manager instead.

Thanks for answering RobWunderlich does not work that way either

I have exactly the same problem. My PDF files are corrupt regardless of the way, I upload them (through DLM or via FTP)

I will look into this soonest, thanks for reporting y’all.

To clarify, the problem occurs when I download from the dlm_uploads directory. If I put the files in the standard we uploads directory, it works.

    Ditto to Rob’s comment.

Same problem here.. In my case solved by uploading the same file repacked in RAR instead in ZIP.

    Please need help, nothing work

I have been spending way too much time trying to figure this out. I need to figure it out this week or move on to another downloads plugin.

I do have the plugin and page add on working great on one site but it spits out corrupt downloads on another site.

The site that it is breaking on is a multi site wordpress install. Can the developers look into this please?

Are the other people here with corrupt file issues using regular single install or multi site?

    Thank you in advance!

    James

My download files are on a single site install
