• Was just doing a little testing to see what happens…

First, the instructions for setting a form to a specific release are poor. I think I have figured it out, but I’m not sure since there is nothing in the instructions that state what the “ID” is.

But, having figured it out (I think)…I tried something. I created two releases. I put one of the codes for the other release and used it in the form that is supposed to be set to a specific release. That code works and allows them to download the other release. It shouldn’t do that. The codes should only work for the releases that they are assigned to. otherwise this makes it extremely difficult to securely manage releases. Please fix…

Actually… The codes do only work for a single release…the issue is that when the code for one release is placed in the form for another, it displays the info for the release that belongs to that form…as in the file name, file size, etc.

So…code for release B entered into the form for release A will show the info for the file that belongs to release A, but when you click the download link you get the file for release B.

It makes it all confusing. There should be another verification step or something when the code for one release is used in the form for another…if someone tries to do this it should leave an error message saying that the code entered is invalid for this particular release….or something like that…
