Download button opens instead of downloads

  • I was having the problem where the download button is opening mp4 files instead of downloading. I first went through a week of trial and error with a nginx specialist and he is pretty sure this is no longer the potential problem.

    Then I started looking elsewhere and I found this:

    Could there be any solution for this ? It is wasting a lot of bandwidth as people click the link and it opens, loads the video and then they have to click the download button again so its potentially wasting double the bandwidth.

    Hello @michaelsamo,

    As of now the Fluid Player plugin is only meant to be a wrapper for the actual player, no extension of functionalities is planned. I would follow the github issue, maybe submit a pull request if can fix it yourself.
