download button ask to right click

    download button like:
    [fvplayer_download caption="download" src="https://vimeo.com/238583657"]
    asks for right click and press “save as” instead of imediatly downloading video…
    any ideas?

  • Hello Meirk,

    Some servers force video download. You can simply disable this right click note by going to FV Player -> Settings -> Download and checking the Disable right click note option.

    The downside is that this way, it will start forcing the video to be opened in a new tab and your users will still have to right click it to actually download it. I’ll ask Martin about details on how to prevent this behavior.
