Download

  • Hi,

    Is there any plugin widget that allows downloading a single file from a site. I tried Download Box but it lists all the files from a folder. I need option to download a single file.

  • the simplest way is to just link it. Like I put all my music in a music folder in my wordpress directory.

    I then link it. For instance, I type the words ‘Download this track’

    I highlight those words, click the link icon in the editor and put in the following example url

    [audio src="https://www.mysite.com/wordpress/music/example.mp3" /]

    And that works for me…. avoids using plugins

    It is not problem form me but for my customer is, and also it is meant to be inside of the sidebar. so it needs to be a widget. But thanks anyway
