Hey, see if anyone can help me. On the prestamosolucion website I had version 5 of WordPress and Gütenberg didn’t like it.

What happened was that when I went back to version 4.9.9 I installed Divi, my surprise was that when I saw the posts had HTML code and line breaks respecting the old block that Gütenberg created, in this website I mentioned I did it manually because it is not very big.

But now I have another one with a 300 URL that I need to go back, do you recommend me to do something so that this does not happen to me when I do the rollback?

  • Hi there,

The commented HTML code for blocks should only appear in posts that you have opened in the new editor. For posts untouched by the new editor, they should remain the same as before. Rather than rolling back to 4.9.x, can you install the classic editor plugin instead?

    Right, how clumsy!
I didn’t know that it was possible to install the old editor in version 5, to see if this way it doesn’t give me all that work of the line breaks.

Thank you very much for your help!

I have a similar case, could I remove gutenberg and put the old wordpress editor ?. Here my thread gutenberg problem with elementor
