Hi, I am considering not renewing my plug-in subscription but I would like to use your free version. I am not happy to find that I have been paying $60 USD a year when I could have been paying $45 for more service. It is too late now but I wish I had known.

    1) Will anything happen to my existing galleries in word-press when I end my subscription?
    2) Do I need to redownload the plug-in or do something specific?
    3) I did use a few carousels in the past. I know that they are premium features. Do I need to delete my old carousels? What will happen to my old posts that embed a carousel?
    4) I currently use the “Select tag” and “search” options on my gallery page. Are they part of the no-charge plug-in?

    Thanks…………Jackie

Just to add to my previous question. My blog is just for my family. There is no interface with social media sites and no advertising and no followers etc. It just replaces my old emails. I do like your gallery but I don’t think that I need any fancy features. Let me know if you think that I am wrong. Thanks.

    Dear @jjansen1609,

    The premium gallery has
    Masonry gallery View.
    Mosaic gallery View
    Blog Style View
    Masonry Album view
    Slideshow/Lightbox 15 effects

You can change the view of your current galleries to Thumbnails, Image Browser, or Slideshow before activating the free gallery plugin.

Deactivate and delete your current version and then add the free gallery back through your WP>plugins>add new plugins section.

There is no data loss associated with those actions.

You will lose everything only if you install the gallery plugin from the options.

Show search box and tag box are available in the free version as well.

Let us know if any questions arise.

    Sincerely,
