Down for Scheduled Maintenance!? EMERGENCY

  • Hello, My site was working fine. I noticed an update available for Contact Form 7. Clicked to update liked I’ve done a thousand times before. SUDDENLY my whole site crashes and all we see now is “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.” and I can’t get out of that message nor admin the site to reverse it … its all gone.

    I am using WordPress MultiSite 3.0.4 with Buddy Press. The site is NSFW https://www.lockedndenied.com

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    About ten minutes later I received this message “An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.” So I re-uloaded via FTP the older version of the plugin and my site seems to be live again.

    WHEW!

    LOL…I know the feeling. Been there, done that ??
